Inheriting the tradition of Stax Records and High Records, Malaco Records, a prestigious label loved by soul fans around the world as the savior of Southern Soul in the 80's, has released a series of straight reissues in Japan! Dorothy returned to Malaco after an absence of about 10 years, and this album, released in 1990, shows her great maturity. The album is of high quality, including the title track, which was a single cut, the gospel ballad "All Night Blue," which was also a 7-inch song, and the B-side songs, each of which is a good tune by George Jackson.
