FAST FireWire Cut-to-Fit Wire Sets deliver a high performance, convenient solution for LS coil-equipped engines that require custom length plug wires for a clean installation. Known for their high output, durability and small footprint, GM LS ignition coils are a popular ignition system enhancement for many performance applications. However, retrofitting GM LS coils often results in the use of too short or excessively long spark plug wires to complete the installation. FAST has solved this problem by developing two Cut-to-Fit Wire Sets for GM LS ignition coils.FAST pre-assembles the ignition coil terminals, requiring the end user to crimp only the spark plug terminals to the wires. Designed to accommodate custom coil mounting locations, FAST Cut-to-Fit Wire Sets are available with either 90 degree or 135 (45) degree spark plug boots.With a 9mm diameter and only 15 ohms per foot resistance, FAST FireWire delivers the most energy possible to the spark plug. FireWire’s proprietary reactive core suppresses electromagnetic interference (EMI), safeguarding noise-sensitive ignition control and EFI systems. FAST engineers built the Cut-to-Fit Wire Set to withstand the high heat from turbo LS engines. Featuring a silicone-on-silicone construction, FireWire is resistant to abrasion, heat and oils, while silicone spark plug boots resist cracking from hot headers. Additionally, FAST engineers equipped the FireWire Cut-to-Fit Wire Set with our exclusive Heat Sleeve protective sleeve. Produced from braided fiberglass, the Heat Sleeve-equipped FireWire will withstand up to 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit.
