The young maestro Kenjiro Sakairi, who is in the groove right now, performs "Mara 3" live! This time, they took on Mahler's 3rd symphony, a huge symphony for orchestra and voices! They gave an overwhelming performance of this massive work, never missing a truly beautiful part of it. The orchestra's skill was impressive as well, as the intricate context was clearly delineated.The string song in the last movement is wonderful and moving! The program of vocal pieces was also skillful. The live performance of Brahms' "Ave Maria," reminiscent of the "German Requiem," and Wolff's colorful "Fairy Songs" are coupled together.
