Louis Armstrong (1901-1971), known as "Satchmo," was the greatest jazz trumpet player and vocalist of the 20th century. This best-of album features 37 tracks from recordings made between the 1920s and 1960s, including "On the Sunny Side of the Street," "March of the Saints," "This Wonderful World," and other representative songs and masterpieces, carefully selected in a 2-CD set to reflect on Satchmo's musical life and celebrate his great achievements. Special project for the 120th anniversary of his birth and the 50th anniversary of his death.
