Recorded in Toronto from the first solo tour of his career in 2006 to coincide with the release of his 3rd solo album "Morph the Cat"! The recording is in high sound quality! Surprisingly, this is his first solo tour (the next one was in 2017); since he resumed performing live with Steely Dan in the 90s, he has toured frequently, but only with the Steely Dan repertoire. There were few opportunities to see songs from Fagen's solo albums live, so this soundtrack will be valuable. Although they played a few Steely Dan songs, most of them were selected from Fagen's three solo albums, and three were from his new album. In addition, there is a standard tune "Mis'ry and the Blues" by jazz trombonist Jack Teagarden and Chuck Berry's famous (lost?) tune "Viva Viva Rock 'n' Roll". Fagen's tasteful side can also be seen on this album, as he covers jazz trombonist Jack Teagarden's standard "Mis'ry and the Blues" and Chuck Berry's famous (or lost?) song "Viva Viva Rock 'N' Roll".Backing the band are the recording members of "Morph the Cat" and a mix of Steely Dan's touring members. After spending the entire month of March on Fagen's solo tour, the band will return in July with Michael McDonald and Walter Becker. In July, the band will go on tour as Steely Dan, with Michael McDonald and Walter Becker joining the group. The band's performance is a masterpiece, and the quality of the show is as good as can be expected.
