Description:
A straight reissue in Japan of the masterpiece from Malaco Records, a prestigious label that inherited the tradition of Stax Records and High Records and was loved by soul fans around the world as the savior of Southern Soul in the 80s, all in one miraculous release! Although it was made in 1992, it is a generous piece of music with a full of 70s vintage feel. The majority of the songs are gospel, but there are some fine swings, such as the funky "Read Me My Rights," the minor-key ballad "I'll Always Love You," and the modern-mannered "You Can't Blame Love. The jumpy title track was written by Frederick Knight. The other songs, including a cover of Bobby Caldwell's "What You Won't Do for Love," are too nostalgic! Supervised by Shinichi Iwama (Super Cry Inc.).
