Description:

Since his solo debut in 1947, Miles Davis, the king of the modern jazz scene, has continued to create new jazz music at the forefront of the times, including cool jazz, hard bop, mode jazz, electric jazz, and hip-hop jazz. Even after his death, he continues to influence musicians in various genres, and is greatly respected by them. This is a very important archive of Miles Davis' live recordings, many of which have never been released on CD. After Wayne Shorter, who had played an important role in the quintet at that time, left the band in 1970, Miles Davis began a European tour in 1971, and this album includes the performance in Belgrade, former Yugoslavia, on November 3, 1971. This album is a recording of the performance in Belgrade, former Yugoslavia on November 3, 1971.Gary Bartz replaced Steve Grossman on saxophone, Dave Holland replaced Michael Henderson on bass, Leon Ndugu Chankler replaced Jack DiJohnette on drums, Keith Jarrett on keyboards, and percussion was replaced by James Mtume, who was a regular member of the band until Miles' health deteriorated in the summer of 1975 and he had to leave the music business. Keith Jarrett left the band after this tour, so this film is the last appearance of the band with Jarrett. In addition, there is no official album with Chancler on drums, so this is a very valuable source in that respect as well.
