The first Redecker brushes were made in Germany in 1935, by Freidel Redecker, who mastered the art of brush-making after going blind in childhood. This oiled beechwood and natural rubber lint / clothes brush does a great job of cleaning jumpers, jackets, blankets and even upholstery - the rubber is fantastic at picking up lint, dust, dandruff and fur using friction and static electricity, "like a magnet".
