Pro tip

Cut square, deburr, and mark depth before every swage. A light lube on the mandrel helps in Brisbane humidity. If the tube is work-hardened, anneal the end first — less force, nicer finish. No worries.

FAQs

Does this kit include a 2-1/8″ head?
No — the tool platform can swage up to 2-1/8″, but this Deluxe kit includes heads up to 1-5/8″. Larger heads are separate.

Will it crack small tube?
Not when used correctly — the hydraulic action gives controlled force for ¼″ swages without splitting. Deburr and lube the mandrel for best results.
