'Az Yashir' developed out of songs that 'Matthew 'Doc' Dunn and I had been writing & playing in the Southern Comfort Room of Toronto's Tranzac Club, & with our band, Sacred Lamp. Out of those, more songs appeared. Looking back after two & a half years of Covid, they seem like golden hours, a calm before the storm. These are devotional blues & space rags. For me, they reflect a time of change, loss & redemption through the sea of sound. Recorded by Sandro Perri on April 8, 2018 & Mixed by Harris Newman. Thank you for listening.
