Each bottle of Daufuskie Island Rum is distilled, bottled, labeled and packed by hand on Daufuskie Island. The island is accessible only by boat. There is a timeless quality to the island with pristine beaches, stunning sunsets, and a small group of residents who would not want to be anywhere else. The concept of a rum distillery on Daufuskie seemed to be a great one. After all, rum is an island drink and it is made on islands all throughout the Caribbean. So, why not on Daufuskie Island?
