Bring back that brand-new-appliance shine without the chemical side quest. The Norwex Stainless Steel Cloth is a tightly woven BacLock® microfiber cloth built specifically for smooth stainless steel and other metal surfaces. One textured side grabs fingerprints, grease and water marks; the soft, suede-like side polishes everything to a streak-free gleam using just water. At approximately 15.7" x 15.7" (40 cm x 40 cm), it’s large enough for full-size refrigerators yet easy to maneuver on smaller appliances, sinks, faucets and even cookware. The built-in BacLock® micro silver agent helps the cloth resist odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew within the fibers so it stays fresher between washes. Skip the specialty sprays and keep this cloth handy for fast, satisfying “look how shiny” moments all over your kitchen.
It’s designed for smooth stainless steel and other easily scratched metals like fridges, dishwashers, microwaves, range tops, prep tables, sinks, toasters, cookware, bakeware and some bathroom accessories. Always follow your appliance manufacturer’s instructions and test in an inconspicuous spot first, especially on coated finishes or anti-glare surfaces.
For light smudges, you can use the cloth dry, wiping in the direction of the grain with the smooth side to polish. For heavier prints or grease, slightly dampen the textured side with water to lift the grime, then flip to the smooth side to buff to a streak-free shine. No stainless steel sprays needed in most cases.
BacLock® is Norwex’s exclusive micro silver agent embedded in the fibers. It helps the cloth self-purify by inhibiting the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew inside the cloth. That means it stays fresher between washes, but you should still launder it regularly once it’s visibly soiled or heavily used.
The flat, tightly woven microfiber is designed to be safe for smooth metal surfaces and not scratch when used as directed. To protect delicate finishes, avoid using it on gritty or sandy surfaces, always wipe with the grain and test on a small hidden area first. Reserve this cloth just for stainless and polished metals for best results.
Rinse after use, wring out and hang to dry. When it needs a full clean, machine wash in warm water with a quality detergent that’s free from bleach, fabric softener and dryer sheets, which can coat the fibers and reduce performance. Tumble dry low or line dry. Slightly dirty cloths can be hand-washed with a little dish soap and warm water between full washes.
