The Soil Association Certified organic lambswool & organic coconut fibres within the Latex Mat provide superior breathability and temperature control, working together in perfect harmony with a layer of natural latex - from the sap of the Hevea tree - to produce the perfect level of support for any growing child. We've designed this particular Latex Mat to fit snugly into the curved base of the pre-September 2022 Stokke Junior Bed V2, ensuring your little one has a perfectly-sized mattress for their sleep space.

Natural latex provides all the support offered by synthetic foam - but without the toxins, chemicals or other nasties. Through the same non-destructive tapping process used in maple syrup production, sap is drawn from the Hevea tree before being mixed with soaps and other compounds in a giant stand mixer, introducing air to create a foamy and elastic texture. This foam is then baked solid in large oven-style trays, creating a perfectly foamy surface without the need for synthetic chemicals.

The Latex Mat features a quilted cover made from a blend of wool & cotton - woven tightly in such a way that our covers are naturally fireproof, with no need for synthetic FR treatment.  Likewise, our covers are finished with an OEKO-tex certified, plant-based geraniol treatment to make them bed-bug and dust-mite resistant - perfect for children with allergies.
