Brewed to provide comfort during the windy Ides of March and to welcome the arrival of warmer weather. This unique beer is fermented with both ale and lager yeast, aged in an oak foeder, and then refermented in the can. After a short rest in the foeder, Bière de Mars is transferred to used bourbon barrels, resulting in flavorful hints of caramel, leather, bourbon, and tart oak. "Beware the Ides of March" - a warning from an ancient source.
