I don't think that the maker of this jar was an amazing potter--the walls are thick and the form a little clunky--but the green glaze is really terrific, and it is 100% the perfect vessel for holding pens or paintbrushes or toothbrushes or wooden kitchen spoons. Or use it as a vase for daffodils. Really a very satisfying thing that delivers pleasure every time you look at it.

5 1/2" tall x 3" across at lip; 4" d at widest. Great condition, no chips or cracks. some unevenness to the glaze around the lip, original to vessel.
