Holly's work has been greatly influenced by the geometry, simple forms and patterns that were explored during her studies in fabric design and screen printing.
Along with years of working as a freelance editorial illustrator, she has also had some great opportunities to design and screen print textiles for unique bespoke projects.
Holly is continuously mixing up her practice with all of these different disciplines. Her collective studies in art inform each new direction, all finding some place in her art. Play is possibly the best and biggest inspiration in her practice.
Recent years has found Holly experimenting with landscape painting. Using a light abstract approach to capturing abstract memories, real and imagined. Memories of places and times gone by, all the short stories that make up a life.
