This is a pair of matching heavy spurs.

They are made of polished steel
They probably date from the late 19th or early 20th Century.
Each has an eight pointed rowel which still turns.

The heel bands are quite wide.

One side of each spur has silver diagonal lines with traces of engraved decoration .
The other side of each spur has a horizontal line.

Each arm ends in a rectangular slot. There is a swinging button on each arm.

The spurs have their original straps with fine stitching
