Tracing its lineage to the 1st Indiana Field Artillery of the Spanish-American War, the 150th FA was federalized for World War I and assigned to the legendary 42nd Infantry “Rainbow” Division. Under Colonel Robert Tyndall, the regiment wielded French 155mm cannons across some of the war’s most decisive engagements.
