From Printhie’s oldest vines, now more than 20 years old, this wine shows a classic Cabernet fruit profile of blackberry, blackcurrant, mocha and spice, along with a slight vegetal character. Lightly oaked, the tannins offer good structure and balance. Very attractive on release as a young wine but will develop some typical Cabernet bottle aged character of tobacco leaf and earthiness with 2-3 years in the cellar.

Bright, fresh and delicious, a great wine to pair with rich, hearty stew.
