This is a good quality dark tan coloured leather case . 

Its fine stitching is very good and all the buckles and straps are in good order.
The lid closes with a brass billet.

The case is lined in dark coloured doeskin or chamois and has an internal partition .

Inside there is a double hinged plated sandwich tin.
The tin is in good condition, inside it is stamped with a trumpet and banner symbol and  "JD & S, 916M". The plating is worn around the lower edges of the tin.
There is also a rectangular flask with a captured or bayonet cap which is also stamped with a trumpet and banner symbol and  "JD & S" .
