Lamana is a young yarn company from Germany that works with Peruvian and Italian mills.  Their yarns are made from the highest quality fibres and the colour selection is extensive.

Lamana uses a special carding process that they call SUPERLIGHT to create a yarn that is as light and airy as a woolen spun yarn, but as soft and smooth as a worsted spun yarn.  You get:

• great yardage (about double what you'd expect by weight)
  
• great stitch definition
• great drape
• very soft, smooth yarn
• very light, airy garments
• pill resistance

Use single-stranded for finer garments, and hold two strands together for sweaters and coats.

The yarn is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning that it is free from any harmful chemicals.
