These armchairs embody the essence of the Brazilian modernist movement and the architects commissioned to furnish Brazil’s new capital, Brasilia, in 1960. Originally owned by Infraero, the government organization responsible for Brazil's airports, they feature a caviuna hardwood frame with seats and backrests upholstered in beige faux leather. The seats are generously wide, and the backrest cushions can be adjusted to an angle for enhanced comfort.
The wood has been refinished to highlight its vibrant veins, and despite showing signs of age that add character, the armchairs remain in excellent condition. Each chair bears a manufacturing seal located on its back.
