AJA Hi5 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 Converter

AJA's Hi5 converts single link 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0, giving production and broadcast teams a straightforward way to monitor professional SDI sources on HDMI displays. Compact enough to sit behind a monitor or ride along on a camera rig, it serves edit suites, machine rooms, and field setups where 4K and UltraHD SDI signals need to reach HDMI screens.

The 12G-SDI BNC input follows SMPTE 259/292/424/2081/2082 and handles YCbCr 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 plus RGB 4:4:4 at 8-, 10-, or 12-bit, with Two Sample Interleave mapping for 4K and UltraHD sources. A single 12 Gb link carries 4096x2160p or 3840x2160p up to 60 fps, while 6G, 3G, 1.5G, and 270 Mb SDI rates cover 2K, HD, and SD formats. A universal power supply is included.

• *Hi5-12G devices use approximately 11 watts of power and convection cooling. It will be very warm to the touch, which is normal. When installing a unit, mount in a location where the device has access to air for proper cooling. Do not stack a Hi5-12G device with other Mini-Converters.
