This piano is in good used condition and full working order. It comes with a matching piano stool.

Please note: there was a cosmetic chip to the front edge below the keyboard. This has been carefully repaired using matching wax filler and is now much less noticeable, although the repaired area and some surrounding marks can still be seen on close inspection. The cosmetic repair is clearly shown in the photographs and does not affect the piano’s operation or playing performance in any way.

The Kawai CA49 is part of Kawai’s highly regarded Concert Artist range. Its main advantage is the Grand Feel Compact wooden-key keyboard action. All 88 keys are constructed from wood and use a seesaw-style movement similar to an acoustic grand piano action. It also features Ivory Touch key surfaces, let-off simulation, triple-sensor detection and counterweights in the bass keys.

This makes the CA49 an excellent choice for a progressing pianist, advanced student or adult returning to the piano who wants a much more convincing playing experience than a standard entry-level digital piano.

The piano includes sounds sampled from two outstanding Kawai concert grands: the flagship Shigeru Kawai SK-EX and the Kawai EX. These are reproduced using Kawai’s Progressive Harmonic Imaging technology with individual 88-key sampling.
