This heavy duty steel spring body has 1 hook offset at 90 degrees, and 1 regular hook at the other end. Usually, the top hook fastens to a vertical loop (or welded steel clip) on the trailer frame next to the door opening, and the bottom hook hooks onto a bolt protruding from the side of the ramp. See photo of a properly installed side-mount ramp spring.

Looking at the trailer when standing behind the ramp, choose a RIGHT Hand or LEFT Hand spring.

*Total Length: 16", connecting at 15 1/2"

*Spring body: 1 1/2" wide X 13" long, total of 50 coils of 1/4"unpainted steel alloy

spring rate: 118 pounds/inch

*Weight- 3 lbs. each.

*NOTE: We currently are only able to find this ONE SIZE in Heavy-Duty, side-mount continuous-coil ramp assist springs. If yours are shorter, you can just move the attachment at the trailer SIDE to fit these springs. Do not move the ramp attachment.
