Here it is, the Brake Master Cylinder Brace for your 1967-1970 Mustang!
This Brace kit is designed to eliminate the flexing of the firewall under hard braking scenarios, all while having no negative effect on your braking experience. This kit will fit the 1967-1970 Mustang.
This Brace kit is designed and made here in the USA, with precision waterjet cut brackets and the brackets and threaded rods are powder coated a satin black for a durable finish.
Simply install this Brace kit behind your current Brake Master Cylinder, drill new holes for the shock tower bracket in your driver's side shock tower, and adjust the threaded rods to be custom fit to your car. One advantage of this kit is there is no need to remove the Master Cylinder from the car, and there is no need to disconnect the brake lines during installation. You will need to reuse the existing four bolts that secures your pedal assembly and Master Cylinder to the firewall, the other hardware is included. The video included on this page is for the 1964-1966 Brace install, but the concept and instructions are basically the same. Also, the two pics showing this kit installed are the same used in the '64-'66 kit, I will update once I have photos of the kit installed on the '67-'70 Mustang.
What you get: One firewall Bracket, one shock tower Bracket, two Threaded Rods, four threaded Rod Ends (2-RH and 2-LH), four bolts and nuts to secure the Rod Ends to each Bracket, and two bolts and nuts to secure the shock tower Bracket. :)
