This striking watch is truly a timepiece for the jewelry lover. Baume & Mercier, Swiss watchmakers since 1830, made exceptional use of opaque gemstone material to create eye-catching dials wrapped in lush yellow in and around the 1960s. This turquoise dial is among the most vivid variations we've seen, with a sleek and simple oval-shaped gold bezel and a dial unencumbered by numerals allowing the turquoise to truly take centre stage. The dial is made of reconstituted turquoise, a common manufacturing process by which ground natural turquoise is combined with resin to create a smooth and even-coloured base.

Very good vintage condition with minimal wear and original strap and tag. Manual wind; watch has been shown to wind and keep time but may benefit from service.
