Vintage 1940s cotton sundress in a difficult to find size XXL (extra extra large).

Medium weight blue and white stripe cotton with an adorable print of strawberries accented with green stems and leaves as pictured.

Wide shoulder straps and fitted and darted bodice with a sweetheart neckline.

Front inset waist and self fabric sash belts attached at the right and left side of the waist to tie into a bow in the back.

The skirt is lightly gathered where it is sewn to the bodice.

Front hip level patch pockets.

The neckline, pockets, and shoulder straps are accented with coordinating red cotton rickrack.

The dress is unlined and does up the center back with a well working metal zipper.

DESIGNER LABEL - None, as this is handmade by a skilled seamstress.

CONDITION: Excellent. There are no odors, discoloration, fading, stains, holes, or rips.

SIZING: There is no size tag. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size XXL (extra extra large).

Waist: 38"

Hips: Up to 58" due to gathered skirt

Bodice Length: 13-4/8" - Top of Bodice Below Strap to Waist Seam
