Vintage 30s Silk Day Dress Short Sleeves Speckled Floral Print Large Red Buttons

Lightweight dress in a gauzy silk (or silk-cotton blend?) featuring a specled floral print in coral and blue on a base of cream. Collared, it has half length sleeves and three, large red buttons at the throat that are decorative as it closes with interior snaps (added decades later it seems). Chest is fitted and there is an empire waist line. Unlined.
No tags / handmade as was common in that decade.
