It doesn't get any sweeter than this handmade bag with crochet and pink fabric lining...

This homemade purse is one of three that I've come across and I believe that they were a popular pastime in Sweden (where the bags come from) during the crafting movement of the 1960's to early 1970's. This example is particularly well-made, with a raw or natural (undyed) cotton yarn crochet exterior and bubblegum pink cotton twill interior fabric. The handles are authentic bamboo wood, screwed to two rods for the opening. The overall condition is excellent, with a nice and clean exterior without any flaws. The interior does have very light soiling and the bamboo handles have very mild cracking (please see pics for full details). No labels or makers marks.

- 14" height (bag base without handles)

- 13" bag width

- 1/2" bag depth

- 19" total bag height (including handles)

- 12" handle base/rod width
