Meet Pennyroyal, the most magnificent of them all.. She is a rare early 1980s Laura Ashley Bo Peep era dream dress, beautifully crafted in a soft cotton with a boned bodice. As you are probably aware, this cut of Laura is my absolute FAVOURITE, and I am forever searching for them, they are probably the most sought after and rare LA design of this period, and it is clear to see why.. She has an EPIC silhouette with frills galore, the puffiest sleeves, most dreamy sweetheart neckline and of course, the fullest skirt. She is a pale green shade with a delicate floral, and is truly a spring dream dress. I can see this dress styled in so many ways, she could be dressed up or wore with trainers to give her a modern edge, regardless, whatever way she is worn, she will look BEAUTIFUL! I cannot wait to see where she is headed today..

The Pennyroyal has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a cool setting. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear, she does have fade around her sleeves, hem and parts of her skirt. Nearly ALL of these LA dresses have this fade, I think it is due to the dyes used in the manufacturing process. Regardless, she is a total dream dress, and this has been reflected in her price. This dress usually sells for £300-350+.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
