Vintage 1930’s exquisite embroidered linen clutch handbag with stunning details and colour pallet. The piece shows great workmanship in all its details. It’s made in an envelope shape pattern, with double press stud fastenings, back strap for ease of wearing and an inside pocket. The bag measures 11.5’ x 7’ and is a great size for both day and evening occasions to carry the essentials for the modern lady. The piece is exquisitely detailed with embroidery in the form of pansy florals in mauves, blues, yellows, greens and fawns and edged in a matching powdered blue trim. This piece makes my heart sing. 

A lovely treat to yourself, friend or loved one. A darling finishing touch for any spring or summer outfit. Will look fabulous with 30’s cotton lawn dresses or wide leg culottes and blouses.

Very Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Age related wear to the linen base fabric, with marks but these do not detract from the wearability of the piece we would wear and use as is. 1 x popper fastening doesn’t clasp but could be replaced if desired. Otherwise presents beautifully and is in great condition for its age.
