Description : The Marine Corps Green Poly/Wool Coat is worn with the Green Poly/Wool Trouser and is required for officers and enlisted personnel, with the only differences being the pocket design (Officer coat pockets are bellowed, Enlisted are patch pockets) and how rank is displayed: Officers wear metal grade insignia on the epaulets of the coat and Enlisted wear Chevrons on the sleeves between the shoulder and the elbow (Enlisted also wear Service Stripes at the bottom of the sleeve). The Marine Corps Service Uniform was introduced during World War II, it has the distinction of being the oldest Service uniform still being worn (and actively produced) in the Armed Forces of the United States. Service coats are previously worn and are in Very Good condition unless marked New With Tags (NWT) or New With Out Tags (NWOT). They may or may not come with belts/collar devices.
