The Bowery is named after the Manhattan street of the same name that was home to CBGB's, the birthplace of New York punk in the 1970s and 1980s. You could have met the Ramones, Patti Smith, the Talking Heads there. Even earlier, in the 1950s and 1960s, that borderland between affluence and suburban crime had seen the birth of the jazz careers of Thelonious Monk and Ornette Coleman. 

Manuel created The Bowery bracelet in the form of a tribute to the legendary street, giving it a raw, multifaceted flavor, sculpted with the same toughness as those years that gave so much to music and trends.
