Rose – Tangerine – Ginger

Bikicki’s vineyards are located in Banostor in the ancient wine region of Fruška Gora, facing the Danube River on the edge of Fruška Gora national park. Owner Đorđe works together with technologist Oszkár Maurer and grower Jelena Burmudžija to produce incredible wines of character and clarity that truly express the terroir, fermented exclusively on natural yeasts and without additional intervention in the cellar. 

This is an intense amber wine, with elegantly structured layers of fruit, minerality and spice. It was the best rated Serbian wine in 2021, winning 96 points at the Decanter World Wine Awards.

The winemaker says: "Clear, intensively amber wine, with a layered, elegant and noble fragrance. Its etheric character gives the impression of gunpowder minerality, then follow the muted fruity tones in the form of a dried orange peel, as well as dry Mediterranean spices. The structure opposes the intensity of fragrance, it is very rich, with a firm tannin bite. The taste lasts endlessly and brings about the tonal values of fruit, oriental spice and warm, dry, flowery tones."
