The Aurora in Mulberry Plum is built around exactly this quality — a hand-dyed ground of rich, saturated plum overlaid with a traditional jacquard pattern of geometric diamond medallions in blush and rose, giving the fabric a depth and presence that is difficult to look away from. In still light the pattern reads like antique brocade; as the fabric moves, the jacquard motifs catch the light and shift, revealing their silk content in quiet, luminous flickers.

Each Aurora Mulberry Plum is handcrafted in Vietnam by artisan weavers who work within a textile tradition that has shaped Vietnamese silk culture for centuries. The diamond lattice pattern — a geometric motif with deep roots in heritage silk weaving across Southeast Asia — is woven into an 80% silk, 20% viscose blend before the fabric is hand-dyed to achieve the distinctive mulberry plum ground. The result is a fabric of considerable character: the woven pattern and the hand-dyed ground interact, each enhancing the other, to produce something that could not be replicated by machine. The relaxed tent silhouette falls from a round jewel neckline, unfussy in its construction and all the more elegant for it.
