This is a single spur.

It is made of iron or steel, with a dark colour.
It dates from the late 19th or early 20th Century.
It has an eight pointed rowel which still turns.

The heel bands are quite wide.

One side of each spur has traces of engraved decoration .
The other side of the spur has silver overlay in a scrolling pattern.
Each arm ends in a rectangular slot which holds a swinging button.

Part of a leather strap with key and rose pattern decoration remains.
