The Cotbed
From the moment you bring your little one home, through to childhood and beyond, the Hera Cotbed effortlessly adapts to their growing needs, and includes all parts to convert the cot to the Toddler Bed and First Bed, making the cot suitable from birth to 5 years old.

The Hera Cotbed is handmade from 100% real ash wood from sustainably managed ash forests. All wood used conforms to stringent global standards, ensuring your child is safe and not exposed to harmful chemicals. The Cotbed offers three adjustable heights, allowing you to move the base down as your baby grows.

Made by Gaia Baby, a company who shares many of our core values to make safe baby products that are sustainable, handmade and durable as they evolve with your child. 

 The Hera Cotbed comes with our natural-fibre Coco Mat mattress. Handmade in Devon using organic & sustainable materials, the Coco Mat is firm, flat and breathable, as recommended by our partners The Lullaby Trust.

Our mattress features a cover made from a blend of wool & cotton - woven tightly in such a way that our covers are naturally fireproof, with no need for synthetic FR treatment. Likewise, our covers are finished with an OEKO-tex certified, plant-based geraniol treatment to make them bed-bug and dust-mite resistant - perfect for children with allergies.

The Dresser
The Hera Dresser is a beautiful Mid-Century inspired and cleverly designed choice for your home. Made from sustainably managed Ash forests, the gently curved ends of this baby dresser in natural tones highlight the real grain of this eco-friendly wood. All wood used conforms to stringent global standards, ensuring your little one is safe and not exposed to harmful chemicals.

With stunning Walnut A-frame accents, its generous size makes the dresser suitable for storing all your baby's things, and the timeless design means it can be used in a teen or adult space in the future. Three generous smooth action drawers and a cabinet with two height-adjustable shelves provide ample storage space for clothing, changing essentials and bedding.

The dresser top has a safety lip to prevent items from rolling off and can safely be used to include a removable Hera Baby Changing Station Unit (sold separately)

Coco Mat:

Complies with all standards (BS EN 16890:2017 +A1:2021 and BS7177:2008 for domestic use, and with Fire and Safety Furniture Regulations 1998).
Chemical free, non-toxic and naturally fire retardant.
Our cot & cotbed mattress cover is removable and machine washable at 40°c (delicate/wool cycle recommended).
For safety reasons, we remove the zip pull from the outer and inner covers. To open the zip, please use a paper clip or safety pin to draw the zip slide.

Cotbed fully certified to UK/EN crib standard BS EN 1130:2019.
Dresser is tested and fully certified to EN 12221-1:2008+ A1: 2013; FIRA/FRQG C001: 2016 & FIRA/FRQG C004:2016+A1 2017.
